2009 Institution for Structural Engineers (IStructE) Awards: Caja Madrid a Finalist

Halvorson and Partners was a finalist for the prestigious Structural Awards program hosted by the United Kingdom’s Institution for Structural Engineers (IStructE). Caja Madrid, HP’s 45-story, 820-foot tower in Madrid, Spain, was selected in the Commercial / Retail Structures category.
Caja Madrid joins a roster of other impressive finalists including the Beijing National Stadium engineered by Ove Arup and Partners in the Sports / Leisure Structures category, and The Cathedral of Christ the Light engineered by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP in the Community / Residential Structures category.
