HP Partners with HOK, Bovis, GSA team for ACE Mentor Program

H+P mentors (Randy Herbstman, Stacy Horan, Jason Cook and Chris Arjona) along with other mentors from HOK, Bovis and GSA are taking 2 hours each week to give a diverse group of local high school students a unique opportunity to learn about the AEC industry. Students are given valuable hands-on experiences each week—on-site in one of the participating firms’ offices—while developing their own building design ideas utilizing tools used by professionals. The students also learn to foster teamwork that is essential to this industry, a key aspect to the ACE Program. H+P mentors, along with ACE board member Jim Swanson, appreciate the chance to give back to the community and give these future structural engineers a head start on their careers
