Caja Madrid bank's new highrise, designed by Foster + Partners with structural engineering by Halvorson and Partners, shares kudos with other 'Upcoming' marvels - Beijing's Olympic Stadium by Herzog & de Meuron, CCTV Headquarters in Beijing by OMA, Linked Hybrid also in Beijing by Steven Holl Architects and Heathrow Five in London by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
Best 'New' marvels commended are:
#1 - Bloch Building, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art addition in Kansas City by Steven Holl Architects
#2 - Federal Building in San Francisco by Morphosis
#3 - Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle by Weiss/Manfredi
