AS+GG’s concept for this project includes two towers; Tower A, a 60-story 200m Executive Apartment and Boutique Hotel mixed-use building, and Tower B, a 42-story 140m Luxury Residential Apartment building. The proposed 200 meter tower features a unique curvilinear façade with a subtle, alternating pattern in the placement of its double-glazed floor-to-ceiling windows and adjacent balconies, creating a woven texture, like a fabric of glass. The 140 meter tower also features a curvilinear undulating facade, terraced roof-scapes and urban rooms with views to the Huangpu River and Pudong skyline .

The primary lateral system for Tower A is reinforced concrete shear walls linked to exterior columns via outrigger and belt walls at the Mechanical levels. Additionally, reinforced concrete shear walls are laid out in demising lines between units to produce more continuity between the core and the outer columns. Tower B utilizes a similar lateral system to resist seismic and wind loads. The gravity system for both towers will be reinforced concrete two-way flat plate. This structural system is the most cost-effective for apartment and hotel floors to maximize clear height and to provide efficiency and speed in construction
