Using the integrated modeling software Revit Structure, HP was able to resourcefully navigate the design and drafting process for this multi-hotel tower. Combining three distinct hotel brands in a single building, this 24-story concrete tower performs multiple functions with one efficient structural system. High-strength concrete is used to minimize column and wall sizes and to provide a robust lateral system. Post-tensioned floors allow for thin slabs despite a unique column layout. Three full basements are made possible by a perimeter slurry wall and transfer girders which provide open drive aisles and column-free spans.
