Mixed-Use High Rise

One Park Avenue Tower’s fluid form celebrates Dubai’s historic relationship to water. Undulating ‘steel ribbons’ visually express the tower’s integrated structure and energy systems. This mixed-use tower will be approximately 600 meters high, with a total area of 350,000 square meters. In order to communicate, analyze and coordinate these complex geometries a series of state-of-the-art software is being utilized by members of the design team. AS+GG is utilizing Rhino and Digital Project for form generation and H+P uses this data to develop Strand and ETABS models for structural analysis and design –with interoperability a key focus. A workflow that involves a smooth exchange of data between different platforms has helped to ensure an efficient design process.
