This 50-story tower under construction in the heart of River North will be the tallest tower to date by AMLI, one of the preeminent multifamily companies in the nation. Fitting more than 400 new apartments, 9 levels of parking, and retail on this tight urbabn site - the tower strategically interlinks with the recently built parking garage to the north. The two share vehicular circulation and foundations, and the gararge roof will even become the ameneties terrace for the residents.
Economy was key to ensuring this project came to reality, and H+P went through rigorous structural reviews and optimization to ensure absolute efficiency for this structure. Working closely with Walsh construction during ongoing cost monitoring through design - the exterior, exposed concrete tube structure was developed as the optimally economic solution for the tower. Ongong collaboration with tower architect SCB and the existing garage designers further ensured this architecturally exposed structure was well integrated in all aspects.
